Dani Carney, LICSW

A Message From Dani
I am passionate about providing holistic, person-centered care for individuals seeking therapy. My goal is to partner with you, give you space to explore challenges, and empower your right to self-determination.
I support individuals and families in navigating critical illness, chronic illness, grief, and loss. In fact, I lead a therapeutic support group for individuals adjusting to illness at a local hospital. I value working with adults and caregivers as they navigate life's transitions.
Outside of Integrative Psych, you can find me reading, swimming, or puzzling! I am originally from the Boston area and in the warmer months, I enjoy taking the dogs on a walk around Deer Island and exploring the state's fantastic walking paths. In the colder months, you can find me bundled up indoors drinking hot tea and trying a new puzzle.
I enjoy incorporating skill-based work when appropriate to support clients in creating greater agency in their lives. I provide all clients with kindness, compassion, and patience. I utilize an attachment-based framework, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and art therapy to support my clients!
With gratitude,
Dani Carney, LICSW
