My name is Danielle B. Wald, LMHC and I am the practice owner at Integrative Psychological Services in Brookline, Massachusetts. I’ve established this blog to promote wellness not only within the Integrative Psych Community, but also across a broader range of communities.Â
Why limit some of the benefits of therapy to the therapy session? Deconstructing shame, increasing self-worth, and developing a robust set of coping skills are all therapeutic elements that we can recreate outside of the office.Â
Be mindful! This blog is not a substitute for therapy. It is not therapy at all, in fact. I am probably not you're therapist, and if I am, this is not your therapy session. It is meant to be therapeutic, an add on or pathway to increase our quality of life.Â
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. My pre-therapy background is in Neuroscience, which strongly impacts my therapeutic work. I value my work as trauma-informed and relational. I am inspired by the work of Carl Rodgers and Virginia Satir, amongst other psychotherapists. I am DBT-certified and trained in a range of other modalities, including EMDR. I show up for my clients and in turn they show up for themselves.
I hope you find this blog useful. I can only speak from own professional experience.Â
